I’ve seen these before on Trendland, but I thought they were photoshopped. I can’t believe these Chinese workers manage to stack so many things on their bikes… and then manage to drive successfully!

What can one say other than incredible. I can barely pedal my butt around on a bike. I can’t imagine hauling all of that along too!

These are all kinds of awesome! I presume some of these bicycles have extra widgetry and what-not to multiply the force the peddler pushes? If that makes any sense — not mechanically inclined by a long shot here.

I have lived in Shanghai for more than 20 years, these photos don’t look real thing. I only see not more than 5 times, people overloaded, but it was in van, not on bicycles. Just think about how much the probability the bicycle can be loaded so many tyres without any problems of its own tyre。
It’s the basic, common knowledge!

These make an awesome statement, but they’re very much photoshopped. Just look at ‘Totem #3,’ particularly the pattern of cracks along the sidewalk… I have to admit, I’m very disappointed that the photoshopping aspect isn’t made clearer by the artist. When presenting yourself as a photographer rather than a graphic designer, people put a certain measure of trust in the literal, documentary ‘truth’ of your photos. It’s sort of a reflection on how everything in the media is touched up in some way or another. Not necessarily bad, just impossible to take at face value.
